Grape Disease Risk Assessment for this week plus a link to this year’s Pest Management Guides

Here’s a snapshot from the last week, showing the number of days with the risk of each disease: Ph = Phomopsis, PW = Powdery mildew, BR = Black rot, and DM = Downy mildew. N/A means there is no data or some issues with the NEWA. I have reported these issues to the appropriate parties, so, hopefully, it will be back soon.

At Winchester, our Chardonnay vines were about 50% bud break as of yesterday (but I have a feeling they will be 100% today since it was warm yesterday). At this point, the main focus is Phomopsis, but things seem relatively safe (assuming we don’t receive a long rain today…)
